HEALING and the EARTH ELEMENT

A weekend of HEALING AND LEARNING in the landscapes of SNOWDONIA

An OPPORTUNITY TO HEAL and find PERSONAL GROWTH
Friday 23 April–Monday 26 April 2021

There is no block in a human that cannot be dissolved, no pain that cannot be healed.

The intention of this weekend is to experience the energies of nature in the beautiful landscapes of Snowdonia, and to unite them with our own human energies to bring about personal healing and expansion. The programme will combine yoga and meditation with an ancient Celtic understanding of nature and its properties. Mantra will uplift, while a deep listening to our inner world will create the conditions for the power of nature to begin its work.

The location

We’ll be based for the weekend at Cae Mabon, an eco retreat centre set on a wooded hillside beside a lake in the beautiful Snowdonia mountains. The area has a rich spiritual history and the energy of natural healing is strong. The landscape has a special vibration which can be experienced as a sense of personal peace and inner stillness.

Accommodation

Our accommodation for the three nights (Friday to Sunday) is a collection of unique and characterful chalet huts in the woods, each sleeping 3 or 4 on a same-sex basis. You’ll need to bring a sleeping bag, pillowcase (a pillow is provided) and a towel, or for £10 you can pre-hire a duvet and cover, undersheet, pillowcase and towel.

Meals

Vegetarian meals are provided, with vegan and most other dietary requirements catered for (advance notification required). A small bottle of water is included with each meal, and other drinks can be purchased at the retreat centre.

Toilets and showers

Cae Mabon is an off-grid self-sustaining eco environment, so toilets are dry toilets, and showering facilities are limited as water economy is important. In these respects the weekend offers an opportunity to become more conscious about the way we use resources.

What to bring

You will need to bring a yoga mat or sheepskin and a relaxation blanket. We will be exploring the natural environment, so please bring some robust footwear and warm and waterproof clothing, this being north Wales and the weather in April changeable. If not pre-hiring a bedding bundle you will need to bring a sleeping bag, pillowcase and towel. Bring a swimming costume if you fancy the hot tub or swimming in the lake. And please bring only eco-friendly shampoo and other toiletries.

Travel

The nearest railway station is Bangor. From there a taxi to Cae Mabon costs about £20, so it’s a good idea to coordinate your arrival with others. Aim to arrive late afternoon on Friday 23 April. Departure will be after breakfast on Monday 26 April. Travel costs to and from the centre are not included in the programme fee.

Bookings

Although Cae Mabon can host 26–30 people and we will have exclusive use of the centre and its facilities, we are restricting availability to just 15, so early booking is advised to secure your place. The programme fee of £400 per person includes accommodation and all meals. Bookings can be made via the button below, or to enquire about payment by instalments contact programme leader Charanpal.

A full refund will be given if the weekend cannot take place due to ongoing or new Covid restrictions.
